Squam's Big John Tandem

Developed and proven with John Sampson, a well known angler that shared many of his fishing trips with others on his famous "Barge" on Big Squam Lake. Squams Big John is a great producer of large salmon and John caught many fish over 8lbs with this pattern.  In 2020 I became aware that this pattern also caught a Landlocked Salmon over 10lbs, the largest I have heard of in years in New England for Landlockeds. In is still one of the hotest producers in the CeeDee featherwing line-up  The darker purple featherwing, black cheek and jungle cock eye trigger the strike from wary fish.
