Andy's Smelt

This pattern was originated by Chet in the 70's at the request of a local Monadnock Region salmon troller, Andy Phippard.  We caught a lot of nice salmon on this simple but complete pattern.  Back around 2010 when they started stocking LLS in Nubanusit lake I was trolling it in the fall and caught the first reported salmon about 13" long.  Caught 5 in about one hour. The following year they were nice salmon in Nubbie and the fishery really got going but then suddenly without explanation NH F&G stopped managing the lake for Salmon....go figure.
